The Kingda Ka is the highest roller coaster in the world and one of the fastest ever recorded. Passengers are propelled by a hydraulic motor to speeds of 206km/h in 3.5 seconds. The train climbs vertically more than 139 meters, then plummets down a 90-degree angle at 99 miles/h. This wild ride is found at Six Flags Great Adventure in the USA.
While it is rare, at times the train does not succeed in climbing the mountain, requiring the train to reverse direction. This is not dangerous as the system is equipped with “anti-rollback” brakes, guaranteeing spine-thrilling sensations for the passengers.
