Drug Use Measured on Bills - You Probably Have Cocaine In Your Wallet

Sound outrageous? Not really! According to a recent scientific study, more than 90% of all US dollar bills present trace evidence of cocaine. The study of these bills will reveal consumption by geographic zones as cocaine is sometimes snorted with the assistance of bills.

In the United States, particularly in large cities such as Baltimore, Boston, and Detroit, up to 92% of dollar bills present trace evidence of cocaine. In Washington, D.C., alone, the researchers found traces of cocaine in 95% of the banknotes tested. In Europe, Spain presents the highest rate of contamination on euros, as this country is the highest European consumer.
