Michael Jackson And The Beatles Song Catalog

Beatles songs do not belong to the living Beatles. (Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr). Neither to the families (John Lennon and George Harrison) for that matter, because Michael Jackson bought the copyrights  for the music in 1985. He acquired the rights for a paltry $45 million, to the chagrin of Paul McCartney. The catalog is presently valued at more than a billion dollars.
