Darth Vader In the Cathedral Of Washington

The Washington National Cathedral has unusual items for this type of building, including its gargoyles. Indeed, one of them is a corrupt politician with $ 100 bills in his pockets, and one is Darth Vader, the villain in Star Wars.

This follows a competition between children who were asked who best embodied evil. Children nominated Darth Vader, and so the sculpture was made. This cathedral is the sixth largest in the world, and the funerals of Presidents of the United States are held in its walls.
